One of the first thing that will strike you when walking around at Hideaway Maldives Resort is the vast vegetation growing on the island. We have taken great care to maintain and enhance this great resource and have developed cultivated areas where both fruit and vegetables are being planted and grown. Thanks to this sustainable garden, we can offer our guests healthy, nutritious and fresh produce, while helping to minimise our impact on the environment.

We have often been asked how we manage to grow fruit and vegetables on a remote island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. As a result, we have put together a nature and vegetation exploration tour. You will be amazed at the abundance of the vegetation and the products that can be grown – for example, we are growing 3 varieties of chilli alone!

The tour is perfect for the whole family to understand more about the efforts being taken to help preserve and respect the natural beauty of the Maldives.
